House Rules

A full copy of the house rules will be included in the Rental Agreement which will be emailed to you immediately upon booking. The rental agreement must be signed within 24 hours of booking to avoid cancellation of the booking.

Check-In/Check-Out

Check-In is 4pm or Later and Check-Out is by or before 10am to avoid unnecessary late check-out fees. We are unable to guarantee an early check-in or a late check-out. We often have back-to-back bookings and our cleaner needs a flexible window of time to ensure the house is completely sanitized and ready for each guest.

Hot Water Safety

Our water is hot! When turning on the faucet to the sink or shower, ensure that you check the temperature prior to submerging in the water. Do not place the dial completely on the hot side to avoid excessive heat.

AC/Heat

Never leave the fireplace on and unattended. Always turn the fireplace off when leaving the room or the house. Set the AC or Heat to an eco-friendly temperature when leaving the house. The gas fireplace is only available during the colder months between October and March. Do not run the AC and the fireplace at the same time.

Open Flame

Absolutely no open flame in the house including candles. Also, no fireworks are permitted anywhere on the property.

Parking

Parking is only permitted in the designated spots. Please review detailed parking instructions upon booking.

Trash

Please cleanup all trash and dispose of in proper bins. Trash instructions will be provided to you upon booking.

Landscaping

Keep off all the landscaping and ensure you stay on solid surfaces that are lit and include railings.

Wintery Conditions

During periods of snow and ice, use extra caution. Walkways are not always immediately cleared when inclement weather hits. Please ensure you are aware of current weather conditions and prepared when inclement weather arrives.

Hot Tub

Not all properties include a hot tub, but for the properties with a hot tub, please adhere to the following guidelines. Utilize the hot tub for your pleasure and at your own risk:

Shower with Soap and Water before Entering
No Jumping, Diving, or Splashing
No Glass or Sharp Objects in or Near the Hot Tub
Do Not Use Hot Tub Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs
No Children Under 5 Permitted
Children Over 5 Must be Accompanied by an Adult
Sessions Limited to 15 minutes
Do Not Put Anything in Water Including Soaps or Oils
Do Not Submerge Your Head Under Water
Do Not Use Hot Tub Alone and Do Not Exceed Max Number of Persons
Keep Hair Away from Drains
Turn Jets Off After Each Use
Do Not Sit on Top of the Hot Tub Cover
Keep the Hot Tub Cover on at All Times When Not in Use
All Users of the Hot Tub, do so at Their Own Risk
Please consult your doctor before using the hot tub if you are pregnant, have heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, you are receiving treatment or have a long-term illness.

Sauna

Not all properties include a sauna, but for the properties with a sauna, please adhere to the following guidelines. Utilize the sauna for your pleasure and at your own risk:

Age and Supervision:

No children 5 years old or younger are permitted in the sauna
Children ages 6-14 must be supervised by an adult at all times

Health and Wellness:

Do not use the sauna if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Limit your session to 15 minutes to prevent overheating. Exit immediately if you feel lightheaded, dizzy, or unwell
If you are pregnant or have pre-existing medical conditions, including underlying health issues, consult your doctor before using the sauna
Do not sleep in the sauna

Hygiene and Etiquette:

Shower before and after your session
Always use a towel to sit on
No shoes are allowed in the sauna

Belongings:

For your safety and the protection of your belongings, no electronics or valuables are permitted inside the sauna

Remove Towels, Clean and Power Off the Sauna Upon Exiting

Deck/Stair Safety

Ensure you are watching your step when going up and down all stairs. Please ensure you are holding onto the railing for your safety on all steps. Additionally, do not climb on any of the deck railings including the metal fillers that are between the decking posts. It is imperative that you ensure your children are not climbing on these railings or are not standing on a hot tub cover where they could fall over an edge of the safely railings. Do no leave children unattended on any of the decks or outdoor swing areas at any time.

Musical Instruments

Not all properties have instruments, but for the ones that do, please be respectful of the instruments and treat them as if they were your own. When you are finished, please put them back exactly as you found them.

Pack ‘n Play

Not all properties have pack 'n plays. For those that do, if you utilize a pack ‘n play, please disassemble, sanitize and put back the way you found it and where you found it.

Property Damage

Any damage to the property during your stay will be your responsibility. This includes but not limited to the following: furniture, appliances, TVs, sauna/hot tub, swings, beds, linens, pillows, towels, arcade/tipi, the net loft, and the house including everything affixed to the property. The property is inspected before your arrival and upon your departure with photos documenting any damages. If damage occurs during your stay, please notify us immediately.

Power Outages

Disruptions in the electric/gas are rare but not impossible. These instances are out of our control and please be advised that they are possible during your stay. Please prepare for this in the event of inclement weather or unforeseen events.

Lost Items

In the event you leave an item behind, we can ship the item to you at your expense plus a $50 handling fee. There could be a large delay on getting an item shipped out to you depending on our schedule and ability to collect the item, package and send to you. Please be sure to do several walk throughs prior to your departure and collect all your belongings.

Theft

Theft of any item in the property is not tolerated on any level. The cabin is inspected prior to your stay and after your stay and photos are documented. Thefts are taken seriously and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Mail Deliveries

Mail delivery is not permitted to this address. The USPS does not deliver here. If you try to have an Amazon package delivered, there is a good chance it will get an undeliverable status. Please do not have anything sent to this address.

Oversized Vehicle/Trailers

Oversized vehicles such as semi-trailers, buses, campers/RVs, boats, and trailers are not permitted on the property. Please ensure that you have only a standard-sized vehicle such as a car, SUV, truck, etc.

TV Subscriptions

Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, and ESPN is available for your viewing pleasure. Do not sign out of TV subscriptions.
